MANAGER - TDS

Job Description:

• Job requires in depth knowledge of GST, TDS and Company Laws.

  Candidate will work with a team of 4 juniors and will be responsible for Complete finalization of accounts ( Trading, P&L and Balance sheet).

  Coordination with the Auditors , Government officials and Management is part of the job.

  Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual closure of books including preparation of schedules.

  Verify vendor bills, pass journal entries to ensure proper accounting of TDS pass appropriate journal entries
  Review accounts payable ledgers and prepare reconciliations as required
  Reviewing debtors ageing report month on month basis, making report of long outstanding and discussing the same with Marketing Staff and Management
  Prepare month end schedule of accounts payable including ageing reports
  Prepare TDS and Service tax payment schedules at the beginning of each month
  Ensure issuance of TDS certificates to vendors as required.
  Reconcile GL and AR ageing on monthly basis

• Background in, and understanding of, Financial Services, preferably Operations, Crisis Management, Scenario Planning and Business Analysis
• Ability to articulate risk management concepts in business language
• Knowledge and experience of working with relevant operational resilience regulations
• Experienced in managing stakeholders including C-Level
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Experience of managing business continuity and resilience within a scaling organization
• Experience of Framework and Process improvement
• Keen eye for attention to detail and a generally collaborative approach
