Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Senior Engineer for a reputed company at the Bangalore location.

Job Description:

• Experience or proven competency in Java and Android Frameworks or Linux Framework.
• Knowledgeable in the following: C, C++, Linux, RTOS’s, LTE Modem Architecture, Object-Oriented Design/Architecture, device driver development, and software configuration management (GIT preferred).
• 10+ years of product SW development experience working with Cellular Carrier(eg. VzW, ATT, etc), including LTE modem, bring up, LTE coexistence,  RF front end development, carrier certification issue resolution, LTE protocol conformance - GCF and PTCRB tests, and support or 10 years+ experience in Bluetooth stack, Bluetooth Classic, and BLE)  - BlueZ, BlueDroid, Fluoride and BT profiles like GATT, SPP, HSP, HFP, HRP, or Wifi 5/5GHz, Wifi 6/6e, GNSS, USB, IPC
• Knowledge of mobile device emerging technologies, including Smartphone LTE architectures, geo-location technologies, camera/video, and touch screen displays is a plus.
• Familiarity or experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and practices is preferred.
• Drive ownership, self-sufficient, hands-on to drive quality and maintain application stability.
• Provide technical direction and drive key technical issues resolutions and innovation solutions across sites in multiple programs. Identifies problems, determines alternatives, and evaluates them to arrive a\at an acceptable solution with all aspects considered.
• Influence, participate actively and drive decision-making quickly within and outside of the organization.
• Oversee detailed decision analysis for decision making such as selection of platform, chipset, architecture, and tools/methodologies
• Own the architecture artifacts:
• Architecture whitepaper or High-Level Architecture document, Block Diagrams, DM cost analysis
• Define the specifications which include Technical Requirement Document, System Requirement, Software Requirement Specifications for new software platform and/or new system features/solutions
• Create the software architecture and design deliverables which includes detailed architecture document, design documents, Message Sequence Chart (MSC)
• Identification of NUDs as well as defining key NUDs, requirements & specifications.
• Take part in project/product planning activities (identify dependencies, work breakdown structure, etc.)
• Coach and grow the competency of the team by providing advice, guidance, information, and training
• Identify Critical Parameters, Key Performance Index, DFMEA, design measurement method, and risk mitigation action plans, review and monitor measurement and risk mitigation action progress.
• Strong Practitioner of  Test Driven Development (TDD)

 Preferred Qualified Skills(one or more of the following):

• Experience with ARM/ARM64 architecture, compilers, firmware, Operating systems, Linux kernel, filesystems/storage, device drivers, performance tuning, networking, tools, tests, virtualization, platform libraries, etc.
• Experience with Android Platform
• DM Client - OMADM, Azure IoT, Java, apple bonjour
• Experience in I2C, MIPI, SPI, USB, GPIO, UART, LPDDR, GPIO, Display, Touch, Backlight
• Experience in PBL, XBL, ABL, etc.
• Familiarity with Hardware Documentation such as schematic and layout drawing and communication protocols
• Experience in wireless/cellular technologies, LTE, Bluetooth, Wifi, and GNSS will be an added advantage.
• Experience with CTS/GTS: Google Mobile Services (GMS) Test Suite and Google Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) certification and issue debugging
• Knowledge in REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and other mobile related standards
• Relevant experience in embedded Android audio framework/Audio Manager/Audio drivers/Audio Policy, Audioflinger is a plus 

 Bachelor's Degree required OR MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
