Job Description:
A Service Engineer in a chains manufacturing company installs, maintains, and repairs industrial machinery (e.g., chain forming, heat treatment, welding equipment) to ensure optimal production and minimal downtime. They diagnose mechanical/electrical issues, provide technical support to clients, and implement preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing machinery and conveyors.
- Installation: Install new chain manufacturing equipment and test functionality.
- Diagnostics: Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, repairing or replacing components.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service reports, machine performance logs, and maintenance records.
- Customer Support: Provide on-site technical support to clients, addressing machinery issues and training operators.
- Optimization: Collaborate with production teams to enhance machine efficiency and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2–10 years of experience in maintenance or service, preferably in manufacturing or heavy equipment.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of CNC machinery, industrial chains, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Logistics: Willingness to travel for on-site client service.
