Position - Career Counselor/Admission counselor
Location: No.8, 2nd Floor, Outer Ring Road, 1st Phase, BTM Layout 2nd Stage,
Bengaluru, Karnataka 560076
Job Purpose
Recruits students by developing alumni networks; evaluating student recruiting
techniques and materials; interviewing prospective students for the courses by
providing them absolute information, initiating campaigns to induce students to attend
the courses.
Roles and Responsibilities
? Responsible for the end-to-end student admission cycle.
? Evaluate student recruitment techniques by determining the effectiveness of
each recruitment technique.
? Welcomes prospective students by processing paperwork; interviewing
applicants; conducting follow-up activities such as emails and phone-calling
campaigns.
? Handling of student inquiries effectively.
? Explaining the candidate about the available IT courses and its payment plans
and resolving their doubts and queries accordingly.
? Following up with the candidate for joining the course/program and for the
payment.
? Make follow-up calls for due payments from the candidates.
? Timely updation and schedule of upcoming batches to all the concerned team
members, trainers, and students.
? Achieving targets set by the Branch Manager.
? Maintain a MIS of the students who have taken admissions or have done
inquiries
? Develops a healthy alumni network and arranges for student interactive sessions.
? Maintains recruiting operations by following policies and procedures; reporting
needed changes.
? Enhances admissions department and institute reputation by accepting
ownership for accomplishing new and different requests for admissions.
? Any other work allotted by the management.
Skills Required
? Persuasion and Conviction.

? Fluent in English and Kannada
? Effective verbal and written communication.
? Effective listening skills.
? Decision-making and multitasking.
? People Management

Job Type:
Full Time: 9 AM to 6 PM/10 AM to 7 PM
6 days working with a fixed week off (working weekends)

Qualification and Experience
? Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience of handling operations.
? Graduates or MBA would be preferred

Salary range: 2 LPA to 4. 5 LPA

Candidates having experience of working into the Education Sector
(specially into IT institutes) would be given preference.
