SR. MANAGER - TAXATION

Job Description:

Senior Manager- Tax is to ensure that the company complies with all relevant local, state, and federal tax requirements. Furthermore, top tax managers create internal tax policies and integrate these rules into current accounting methods. Internal audit oversight is another significant component of senior tax managers- responsibilities.

• Responsible for managing tax audits and inquiries globally
• Assisting other tax team members with the company’s transfer pricing policies and ensuring that the Company is complaint with BEPS
• Be responsible for all aspects of transactional tax (sales tax, use tax, property tax, foreign goods and services tax, ) Leverage existing teams to ensure compliance and generate strategies in these areas
• Research and execute income tax planning that considers the Company’s overall effective tax rate and is consistent with Company’s business objective
• Performs technical tax research and analysis of domestic and international tax issues with respect to timing and characterization of income, distribution policies, and withholding taxes
• Performs technical tax research and analysis with respect to fund transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions or liquidations, reorganizations, corporate actions and other matters affecting the funds or holdings of the funds
• Trains and develops Fund Treasury staff and others on tax matters
• Comply to the Firm’s quality control standards
• Advise on and manage critical compliance
• Prepare audit analyses, responses, protests and appeals
