Job Description:

Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting appropriate welding equipment and techniques, preparing and securing metal components, performing high-quality welds, and ensuring safety and proper equipment maintenance. Welders work in diverse industries such as manufacturing, construction, and automotive, requiring precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of various metals and their properties.
Key Responsibilities

Reading & Interpreting Blueprints:Understanding technical drawings, specifications, and measurements to plan and execute welding procedures.

Equipment Operation:Using manual and semi-automatic welding equipment, including torches and power supplies, to fuse metal pieces.

Material Preparation:Cutting, cleaning, and preparing metal surfaces and components, ensuring they are free from impurities and properly aligned.

Welding & Assembly:Joining metal parts with high precision and quality, adhering to design specifications and project requirements.

Quality Control:Inspecting welded joints for flaws and ensuring the completed work meets required standards.

Equipment Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety.
