Job Description:
- Monitor Furnace performance, furnace top condition, shell lining and any abnormalities.
- Monitor day bin bunker analysis and adjust material balance accordingly. Monitor weighing batching process for proper synchronization.
- Maintain optimum Raw-material charge mix as per product specification by observing chemical report & Maintain optimized slag chemistry for smooth Smelting operation.
- Implementing corrective actions observing process defects and parameters.
- Cast house management; manage liquid metal casting and mould preparation and repairing.
- Planning and distribution of human resources as per requirement for the smooth running of production activity.
- Coordinate with maintenance team regarding preventive/productive maintenance and breakdown/shutdown.
- Scheduling and planning plant startup after shut down/break down.
