Job Description:

• A General/Deputy General Manager (GM/DGM) for Sales and Marketing job description includes developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets, leading and mentoring the sales and marketing teams, and analyzing market trends. Key responsibilities involve setting goals, managing budgets, overseeing campaigns, and collaborating with other departments to align on overall business objectives. 

   
  Responsibilities
  • Strategy and planning: 

    Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, create annual marketing plans, and identify new market opportunities. 

     
  • Team leadership: 

    Lead, manage, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing teams to achieve their full potential and meet sales goals. 

     
  • Sales and revenue management: 

    Set sales targets, forecast revenue, manage budgets, and monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). 

     
  • Market analysis: 

    Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform and adjust business strategies. 

     
  • Campaign and brand management: 

    Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and drive sales. 

     
  • Client and stakeholder relations: 

    Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and collaborate with other departments to ensure a unified approach. 

     
  • Reporting: 

    Prepare and present reports on sales and marketing performance to senior management. 

     
  Qualifications and skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
