Integration Project Manager (IPM)
Job Description:
The role of an Integration Project Manager is to co-ordinate and communicate with vendors and customers, plan and manage the entire project of interface implementation by delegating projects to internal teams.
Communication :
Review the assigned project and associated tasks to initiate the project within the set timeline
? Schedule and conduct the kick-off call with vendors and customers to identify the stakeholders and dependencies, gather requirements, set expectations and timelines for the project
? Prepare scope and timeline documents according to the requirement discussed on the call
? Document the minutes of the kick-off call on the CRM.
? Communicate the same through email to all stakeholders of the project along with necessary documentation in the set timeline
? Collate and ensure the availability of project requirements, necessary forms and documents from vendors and customers
? Review the collated requirements, forms and documents to identify and validate any discrepancy
? Educate vendors and customers about the compliance protocol during implementation and testing phases
Project management :
Schedule the interface implementation to the technical team and get approval from the customer for the implementation
? Check for any pre- implementation exceptions, if any and report it to stakeholders and get it rectified before the actual implementation date
? Test the interface with vendors and customers while coordinating with internal technical teams
? Ensure that implementation meets the highest standards for compliance and HIPAA guidelines
? Coordinate with the interface training team for training the customer
? Assist vendors and customers on any issues encountered while they test the interface till 2 weeks of go-live
? Conduct regular follow-up calls with all stakeholders to ensure that the implementation is as per the defined scope
? Get acknowledgement from all stakeholders on success of the implementation and gather feedback for the same
Assistance with ad-hoc issues :
Assist technical teams on issues related to the assigned project, if necessary
? Coordinate with vendors, customers and technical teams to get clarification on issues and assist in resolution
Vendor management :
? Build strategic relationships with vendors for future projects
? Answer ad-hoc queries raised by vendors for probable projects
