Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Critical knowledge and education required for the job.
- 4+ years of experience in ROR (Ruby on Rails)
- The developer will be responsible for writing a server-side web application, logic in Ruby around the framework Rails.
- The developer should be comfortable working in a large Rails application with lots of legacy code.
- The developer should utilize Ruby/Rails best practices.
- The developer should use Ruby style guidelines.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful.
- Good understanding of Cloud technology (AWS, Azure).
- Version Control - Experience with distributed version control systems (SVN, Git and GitHub). Excellent understanding of MVC pattern.
