JOB DESCRIPTION OF SURVEILLANCE DEPARTMENT
Job Title: Assistant Manager I/Assistant Manager II
Department: SURVEILLANCE
Reports to: SVP -Surveillance Experience: Candidates with experience in Surveillance teams of Banking and Financial institutions.
Atleast 0-3 years of experience in Data Analytics or Coding. From IT/ITES/BFSI sector.
Required Qualification: Bachelors in Commerce (with Accounts/Maths)/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ MBA Finance
Preferred Qualification:
- Data Science (Preferred)
Skill, Knowledge & Trainings:
- Data Analytics (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of programming/coding

- Familiarity with trading and surveillance systems preferred

Job Purpose:
The candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring and identifying alerts across different ETPs. The responsibility includes analysing these alerts and reporting the same to the Senior Management and the Regulators.
Area of Operations Key Responsibility
- Monitoring trades across multiple platforms as well as products on daily basis to identify outliers so that potential risks or abuses are proactively detected.
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Regular interaction with internal and external teams on various aspects of system development
- Preparation of various operational reports and MIS Reports on periodic basis
- Analyse surveillance system alerts
- Giving system requirements to IT, interacting with Member Banks in case of any suspicious activities etc
Any Other Requirement:
- Should be ready to work extended hours as per the exigencies of business.
- Co-ordination and Interaction with business and functional teams.
