Role is for Asset Management and CMDB in ServiceNow for one of our esteemed Client

What we are looking for:

• Looking for an additional Hardware Asset Management & CMDB SME to come on board and effectively fulfill the role of a Consultant for a HAM and CMDB project. This would include providing an enhanced level of assurance to the project delivery.
• Involved in the planning element of the project and more critically, help to review and refine an approach we have been creating for systematically importing and validating the CI data within ServiceNow.

Requirements:

• ServiceNow Consultant for end-to-end delivery of the HAM solutions and CMDB & Integrations for the project.
• Review and define a Hardware Asset Management implementation, CMDB Implementation, Maintenance, upkeep & data validation approach. This is currently a defined ServiceNow system which has all Asset types managed for US & CA locations and involves the International Assets onboarding into CMDB ServiceNow. The technical aspects are already in place by the ServiceNow Asset Management Lead, but we are looking for best practice and HAM, CMDB, Integrations specific experience from implementing this type of service in other projects.
• Review and Input into the existing delivery project plan to validate the proposed and in-flight delivery approach.
• Review and input into the HAM, CMDB process documents currently being created by the existing teams for the implementations already completed.
• Customer engagement - alongside the project team this role would be customer facing and would require comprehensive stakeholder Management.

Technical Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development & hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow with a focus on IT Service Management.
• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management and Configuration Management, Integrations using ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Asset Management, Integrations (Web Services, JDBC etc.) needed.
• Experience developing, documenting, and implementing Asset Management and Configuration Management processes, policies, controls, and procedures.
• Experience integrating asset information, including vulnerability data (e.g., outputs from Tenable Nessus or Qualys), with ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of application architectures.
• Experience mapping large and complex applications. Experience mapping cloud resources to applications.
• Proficient with key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions, including ODBC, REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSL, etc.
• Professional-level ServiceNow CSA certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
