Job Description:

OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

  • Managing the business of the division in profitable manner which includes business development and Execution of Projects to deliver the assigned project/s within stipulated timelines and budget along with compliance to safety, quality and human resource norms.
  • Build the organization culture based on values and ethics to respect the concerns of internal/external stake holders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring the Topline & bottom-line for the division.
  • Responsible for timely collection & proper cash flow management.
  • Provide Functional support and ensure efficient Inter departmental coordination.
  • Provide resources at the project mobilization stage.
  • Selection and finalization of sub-contractors. Assist the project team in PRW / Subcontractor management.
  • Provide inputs in project budget development. Monitor adherence to project budget and schedules.
  • Enable smooth transactions and accurate communication between site and service departments, playing a nodal role for inter department coordination.
  • Identification of activities adversely impacting project schedule.
  • Undertake detailed cost analysis to identify areas of cost reduction. Provide inputs for claims identification , Guide site team for potential areas of claim.
  • Ensure Compliance to Management standards and guidelines, identify possible areas of improvement.
  • Strict adherence to the Quality Policy, EHS policy and Objectives of the company.
  • Coordinate with HR, Training and various functions to ensure adequate training on quality and EHS management. Provide inputs and advice for EHS and Quality management.
  • Build and manage harmonious relationship with external entities.
  • Represent the company for critical client meetings and provide assistance in client grievance resolution.
  • Enable interactions and coordination between project team and joint venture partners / alliance, if any Contribute to learning and development.
  • Monitoring ongoing performance, coaching, mentoring and giving technical assistance to subordinates.
  • Support HR in the development of succession plans for critical roles such as that of Deputy Project Controller, PM and deputy PM.
  • Provide inputs for Performance Management and identification of training needs.

 

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

QUALIFICATION

  • Full Time Graduation in Engineering - Civil, Post Graduate diploma in construction management is preferred.

For Industrial & Power division the incumbent should have working experience from Contractor side in Large scale Industrial, Thermal Power , Building projects
