Job Description:
We are looking for a GST Accountant to Register GST IN and file returns for our client companies.
Ultimately, you should be able to recommend GST strategies that comply with laws and promote our company’s financial well-being.
Responsibilities
- Estimate and track GST returns
- Complete quarterly and annual GST reports
- Organize and update the company’s GST database
- Recommend GST strategies that align with business goals
- Prepare necessary paperwork for GST installations and returns
- Share financial data with the accounting department
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to GST
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Forecast GST predictions to senior managers
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a GST Accountant, GST Analyst or GST Preparer
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software packages
- Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Keen attention to detail
- B.Com degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant subject; industry certification (e.g. CMA or CA interns) are preferred.
