Works Manager

Job Description:

Responsible for overall organization, management direction and control of all factory
functional departments and to ensure that production output is maximized.
To organize and control all production within the factory to achieve all output targets in
terms of quantity, quality, unit costs and customer service requirements. To ensure all work
is carried in accordance with health, safety standards.
Job Responsibilities.
? Direct and control all factory staff to ensure that they are properly motivated, trained
anddeveloped, and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and in
accordance withhealth, safety standards.
? Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that the plant and equipment
is effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency.
? Develop and maintain good working relationship with customers and suppliers.
? Assist in negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers to ensure the cost-
effective provisions of services to the factory.
? Develop and maintain short- and long – term plans to ensure that the factory has the
necessary resources to meet business objectives.
? Develop effective working relationships with all employees to ensure the maintenance
of harmonious employee relations within the factory.
? Monitor and control factory budget to ensure that all financial and business objectives
are met.
? Responsible for monthly reporting in time and with accuracy.
? Deliver profitability as per the budget.
? Responsible for keeping optimum inventory and ensure the available inventory if good
and is always in usable form.
? Ensure the QMS based on ISO 9001 is adhered to.
? Ensure timely implementation of the ERP systems within the factory. Adherence by all
departments to the same.
? Perform any other related duties as Management may require from time to time.

Direct reportees: Production Head, Design Head, Manager after Sales Support.
