Production Support Engineer

Job Description:

The individual is expected to have:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in production support (L3-support) of Java/J2EE applications and should have worked in REST API,JMS etc.

• 2+ years of team-leading experience in production support of Java/J2EE applications.

• MUST have production support attitude and aptitude.

• MUST have efficient troubleshooting aptitude and experience.

• MUST have experience of working under high-pressure situations to strictly meet SLA.

• Must have worked on projects/products with Spring and Hibernate framework.

• Strong design, object-oriented, and core java skills.

• Knowledge, experience, and proficiency in writing optimized SQL Queries.

• Must have worked in Tomcat Application Server.

• Should be ready to work in new open source tools

• Ability to develop innovative solutions in a highly demanding environment

• Self-motivated with a record of accomplishments.

• Should have worked in a team of not less than 15.

• Should have experience with any ticket management tool like Jira.

• Nice to have knowledge and experience of integrations with other tools or applications.

Responsibilities -

• Understanding the whole product.

• Writing the code by strictly following the Coding Standards of the company.

• Troubleshooting and resolving production support tickets.

• Meet SLA strictly.

• Performing the Unit Tests and performance tests.

• Leading and guiding a team of production support engineers.
