Welder
Job Description:
. Applies appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable
materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics and sketches using manual, automatic
welding and/or semi-automatic welding equipment
2. Assist in training new employees in safe and efficient use of fabricating and welding methods
3. Out of position repair of defective welds utilizing carbon air arc process, grinders
4.Under the direction of supervisor/working leader, plan and perform hand and/or machine welding
and associated metal joining process to fabricate or repair parts
