Job Description:
- Account & Business Management/Growth
- Leads the strategic role in terms of marketing and media expertise to the teams and clients.
- A leadership role across multiple client account teams and ability to identify/implement growth opportunities within client sets
Build and maintain senior client relationships, stewarding the client relationship
- Mentor and support Account Directors with managing account health, including resolving client issues and handling challenging client conversations where appropriate
- Responsible for the growth of the client accounts within the agency with the support of individual team leads
- Foster strong account direction within the team, implementing clear account management, process and quality of implementation. Demonstrate accountability for Account Directors and Account Managers’ client engagement
- Dynamic presence in presentations and other forms of client communication.
- Up to date with industry developments and emerging trends
- Finance & Profitability
- Responsibility for the P&L of the account teams, supporting the Managing Director with office-wide forecasting and financial management.
- Deep understanding off account profitability, scoping and staffing
- Working with the Account Directors to present final SOW documents to the Managing Director and senior managements for approvals. Responsible for checking all scopes written, and calculating costs/staffing plan.
- Responsible for managing profitability within their account teams, and supporting the Account Directors with scope reduction/managing workloads where required
- Responsible for forecasting for their account groups, mentoring the Account Directors / Account Managers where appropriate
- Ability to recommend client fee structures for new business and client project work, maintaining profitability and client health
- Marketing & Media Campaigns
- Support the Managing Director in managing the daily operations and functional teams.
- Leads the operational excellence role with the account & functional teams
- Champion the strategic planning process for the office. Work with all account teams to ensure that a consistent strategic approach is utilized for service and efficiency excellence
- Support and mentor the ADs and AMs in strategic marketing & media campaign recommendations
- Lead strategically with AD to recommend research, competitor analysis and other insights to strategically impact the client business and grow their accounts
- Lead strategically with AD to translates marketing goals and brand positioning into viable media communication strategies and ideas.
- Offers a fresh perspective and innovation to the account and functional teams
- Support the AD to resolve issues and negotiate make goods where appropriate
- Have a good understanding of all media channels, including traditional, biddable, social, search, programmatic, etc …B2B for instance

Key Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years+ marketing & media experience, with at least 5 years focused online & digital
- Exceptional leadership skills & management experience, demonstrated through staff development and implementation of exemplary processes
- Strategic leadership & expertise experience in media, demonstrated through experience of leading B2C, B2B and Ecomm clients’ strategies and pitches
- Possess and demonstrate current and deep knowledge of India digital marketing trends, strategy, ad-tech & mar-tech, within a marketing advertising environment, and preferable certain level of understanding of global digital marketing landscape.
- Ability to articulate and educate Clients and team members on digital strategy, trends and challenges.
- Demonstrate sharp strategic thinking and effective problem-solving skills, and process-driven skills
- Leadership of department/agency initiatives, and product recommendations
- Excellent track record of maintaining multiple client engagements at once and growing client business
- Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients of senior levels
- Stay on top of business and client concerns to head off issues
- Capable of serving as a DWA ambassador and demonstrating grace in challenging internal/external scenarios
- Strong commercial acumen. Lead client scoping, staffing and profitability across multiple account teams
- Excellent track record of driving client growth, and diversification into multiple products and services
- Excellent client scorecard
- Strong experience in support & leading new business
