Hardware Engineer - Mumbai
Job Description:
Candidate should have passion to develop the hardware of the Product containing
? 32-bit controllers, FPGA, CPLD, Logic chips, Buffer chips, Flash/EEPROM/FRAM chips
?Various sensors (e.g. photocoupler, LDR, Magnetic Encoder, Temperature etc.), RFiD tags
?Keypad, Relay, Solenoid, various types of LCD (Graphical, 7 segment), Thermal Printer
?RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN2.0b, JTAG, USB, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, GPRS, IOT based circuits
Candidate having below experience will have an added advantage -
? developing tamperproof LCD (Display) or Keypads
?Power supply design (Input -110VAC to 280VAC, Output – 5VDC/3Amp, 24VDC/3Amp)
?Developing microprocessor/microcontroller-based motherboard using BGA package
?Developing Cost effective hardware design
Candidate should have experience of following V-Model or Agile methodology, and version control
systems like Git/Bitbucket/SVN
Responsibilities of the candidate
? Circuit design, PCB development (multi-layer boards with different component packages)
? Proto assembly, testing, issue finding and resolving
? EMC/EMI/Surge/Temperature certifications from NABL approved labs (ERTL, ARAI etc.)
? Obsolete part and cost reduction management using alternate part design
? Prepare protos for design validation or external certification, documentation
? New part finding and evaluation, developing POC circuits, upgrading hardware skills
? Maintaining technical setup (multi meters, power supply, DSO, tool kits, PCB tools)
Candidate is expected to work with Mumbai team and at times with members working at Gandhinagar
(Engg) and Portugal (R&D). Hence, it is expected that candidate should be a good team player,
communicator, energetic and supportive.
