Brand Head for a company at Mumbai
Job Description:
Build a clear brand positioning for co. in the minds of consumers, and execute
marketing strategies that grow the current core, and new launches, both online as well as
subsequently in offline.
2. Define and implement brand portfolio strategy in alignment with co. goals,
competitive scenario, and dynamic consumer mindset
3. Be the custodian of all the products and sub brands, their identity and define the sharp
distinctiveness & value proposition for the portfolio
4. Lead and manage agencies (creative, digital, and media) to create brand communications
through Digitally led ATL and BTL campaigns rooted in insights and ensure that all
communications align with the brands positioning
5. Build brand awareness:
a. Develop, implement, monitor a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand
awareness and annual sales along with smooth execution of marketing campaigns
and launches in line with the budget
b. Develop and execute the marketing strategy in partnership with key stakeholders,
including building out brand functions, such as partnerships and collaborations,
content, demand, insights, search, social.
c. Development and implementation of marketing strategies including value
propositions and messaging; Media deployment & management, Product
positioning plans, brand assets and guidelines, GTM plans and marketing mix; and
management of related programs
6. Identify opportunities, guide development, and provide vision for co. presence on
the digital medium that includes leading the strategy on social channels, video, mobile,
microsites and E commerce on an ongoing basis with relevant communication and
engagement for the target consumer
7. Leverage data to develop deep customer insights and translate them into ideas for the
organization across multiple areas – branding, product, customer service etc.
8. Lead the content strategy and build a strong content platform for Dco.
9. In partnership with the e-comm team, liaison with key stakeholders at Amazon, Flipkart
and other key channels to drive exceptional brand growth on these platforms
10. Collaborate alongside internal stakeholders to ensure 4P consistency and alignment of
goals
11. Research and analyze market and competitive trends to identify offer needs and gaps-
build a strong understanding of the competitive landscape to develop differentiated
communication, be able to articulate value at every stage in the buyer’s journey through
well-thought marketing programs/campaigns and messaging to build mindshare and
demand
12. Manage budget tracking for marketing investments connected to KPIs and core metrics,
be aware of the P&L levers to influence them across communications and strategy
