Job Description:
- Improve supplier quality by implementing supplier development initiatives such as supplier audits, Trainings, supplier scorecards, 8Ds etc.
- Develop parts. Ensure on time and first time right. Follow PPAP process.
- Drive cost reduction programs through VAVEs at supplier end.
- Monitor and improve product quality using various tools such as customer feedback, product and process audits, layout inspections, capability studies etc.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
- Should have experience in manufacturing of critical machined parts having close tolerances in quality/production/mfg engg function
- Should have handled all the metrological equipment/instruments by hand
- Should have exposure to ISO/IATF processes/systems
- Should have worked on tools like 8D, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA etc.
