Job Description:

Performance measured on the following KPIs:

  • Assist and support the Commercial team as it periodically renegotiates and enhances the client contracts
  • Responsible for the timely delivery and analysis of the consolidated management accounts, forecasts and budgets for the Client globally
  • Preparation of monthly Client Board Packs and Commentary incorporating all client entities
  • Support the improvement of client profitability
  • Support the implementations of new market roll outs
  • Improve accuracy of quarterly forecasting of the client account margin
  • Complete and improve accuracy of weekly ‘Bank, Stretch and Forecast’ reporting
  • Identify and actively drive forward process improvements and monitor the control environment

You will assist in ensuring all finance functions run smoothly end to end from work estimation, through contracting and work authorization, resourcing and development, all the way to acceptance, invoicing and collections.  You will also play a role in reporting to both the client, account team as well as various layers of management.

You must be very hands on with proven ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams and take responsibility to get things done on time even when systems and processes are at times stretched or insufficient.  You must also be able to partner closely with and collaborate effectively with the client’s other vendors and suppliers and internal departments.  You must be an excellent communicator and able to expertly convey data, abstract concepts, points of view and escalations to senior management efficiently and effectively. 

  • 5+ years of finance experience.
  • Industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • The ability to instill confidence in the senior leadership team and finance departments
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with ability to form strong working relationships
  • Able to effectively navigate conflict with internal stakeholders
  • Clear and concise communicator, to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player
  • Someone who seeks solutions rather than just reporting problems. 
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Pro-active self-starter.
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • High standard of integrity, confidentiality and discretion.
  • Previous experience working with companies where English is the main language
  • Client-side or advertising agency experience
  • Strategic thinker
