Job Description:

Position – General Manager Division – Materials Location – Kottayam, Kerala

Objectives of the role -

• Review and improve divisional effectiveness by developing processes and implementing innovative changes.

• Provide guidance and feedback to subordinates in specific knowledge and skill areas.

Responsibilities of the position -

• Responsible for continuous exploration of new material suppliers & processes to achieve the best possible quality, prices, and delivery.

• Ensure that the company’s standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with divisional function.

• Establish procedures for annual physical inventory.

• Maintain optimum inventory to ensure on-time delivery.

• Oversee the distribution of supplies in the organization.

• Keep a detailed record of procurement, material quality ad specification.

• Forecasting future plans/orders for maintaining optimum inventory level and ensuring availabilities of materials during emergencies, if any

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Desired Profile-

The candidate must be Malayalee ( Keralite )- As he has to coordinate with all 11 units in Kerala.

• Age 45 – 50 years

• Experience – 18 to 20 years approx

• Qualification – MBA in Operations or Post Graduate Degree in Materials Management from an institute of high repute.

• Candidate with experience in the Print media industry would be preferred.
