Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Preforming Risk Analytics activities to develop models and support the bank on various analytical initiatives
- Assist in modeling key risk estimates PD, LGD and EAD for AIRB and IFRS9 framework
- Regularly engage in model development, validation, and re-development activities
- Other risk analytics activities include assisting in review and re-development of Macro-Economic Model, RAROC Calculator Risk Adjusted Return on Capital
- Period reporting (internal & regulatory) of various Risk Metrics
- Engage in model risk management activities
- Develop / review ORM framework including policies, procedures about identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of operational risk
- Assist to ORM functions like RCSA, incident management, Loss data management, BCP
- Assist in preparing varius risk reports
- Carrying out review of ORM framework of financial institutions
- Assist in developing and maintaining policies and frameworks including operational risk • Managing operation risk and its aspects like loss data management, incident management, RCSA, KRI, control assessment and control testing, BCP
- Experience in monitoring and reporting of RCSA, KRI, control testing, Loss data etc.
- Develop and set operating limits, measure, and monitor the risk level /limits per the policies and reporting.
- Support in RBI, Statutory and Internal audit
- Develop and review Stress Testing, Scenario & Sensitivity Analysis of the Banks
Desired Candidate Profile
- Should be proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Should have excellent communication skills (oral, written, and email drafting skills)
- Postgraduate with minimum 3 years of experience in the Banks, NBFCs
- Knowledge of local markets and regulatory landscape
- Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills • Understanding of banking products, operations and strong knowledge of regulatory landscape and regulations in risk, capital, operation, and compliance
- Understanding of risk appetite, risk & control assessment framework,
- Relevant experience in banking functions like Credit, retail operations, Trade Finance, Treasury, risk management .
- Understanding of retail banking, corporate banking, capital markets, trading, and other financial services.
- significant / long term travel to client locations in the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other countries in Middle East will be required
