Basic Qualification:

Bachelor’s of Computer Science or Bachelor's in Engineering or Equivalent in a related field with an average of 60% consistently.

Mandatory Skills: DevOps, AWS, Terraform, Kkubernetes, Gitlab
Experience Cap: Minimum of 6 - 8 Years

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience in DevOps/Currently practising DevOps methodology.
• Hands-on experience of AWS services/features like Control Tower, EKS, KMS, ECR, s3, IAM, ELB, VPC, Cloud Formation, auto scaling, RDS, elastic cache etc.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as code ( IAC ) for provisioning and managing cloud resources and containers with tools like Terraform, ansible, helm charts etc.
• Strong Experience of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration technologies, especially w.r.t. maintaining an EKS cluster.
• Knowledge in ArgoCD is an added advantage.
• Have a passion for automation by creating tools using Python, Java or Bash.
• Expert understanding of Unix/Linux based operating systems.
• Experience deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Logging, Monitoring stack.

Description:

As a DevOps expert, your primary responsibility will be to prevent disruptions to our business by implementing changes to production. By utilising your knowledge of security protocols, you will establish company-wide standards to safeguard against cyber threats and analyse log files to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will set goals and use metrics to measure your performance, collaborating with various teams including development, production support, business, and other technical and non-technical teams within the organisation. Your ultimate objective is to streamline the process from development to production, thereby enhancing the customer experience.
