Hiring for Middleware Developer II for leading wellness and fitness company based out of Bangalore location.

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Developer II – Middleware will design and develop technical web services and integration solutions that support our current business needs in accordance with established standards. Contribute to all aspects of project life cycle from design to deployment. This position will design, code, unit test and collaborate with other technical members of the team to carry out the project requirements and deliverables. The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of qualities: effective communication, technical proficiency and the ability to work effectively with technology partners and other internal customers to provide responsive support across our application portfolio.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 

• Developing interfaces and web services using API management platforms (Apigee).
• Developing on-cloud and on-premise solutions
• Develop, support, maintain, and implement complex business solutions with fault-tolerant integration solutions.
• Deliver solutions on API led approach.
• Designing, developing, and managing APIs using API gateway/portal
• Creating micro services using technologies like Spring Boot.
• Develop different flavors of services like web service, REST, messaging service, event-based service etc.
• Build services with highest standards of security
• Develop SQL/PLSQL code where necessary.
• Develop solutions using core java/ spring.
• Develop integrations between different databases (Oracle, SQL Server, No SQL), File servers.
• Provide experience and strategy in building integrations for business continuity.
• Build and develop secured B2B integration solution with third party vendors
• Developing API documentation with RAML, swagger and deploying services on both on-premise and cloud content servers.
• Refine integration build processes from inception to production.
• Fine tune solutions/services for optimum performance.
• Work with scripts to monitor various business critical components at runtime.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

• Must have Good knowledge and hands-on experience in API management platforms (Apigee) and API related activities: requirement analysis, solution architecture and design, resource-based API modeling, micro-services architecture.
• Must have hands-on experience with production deployment and postproduction support.
• Must have experience developing sprint boot service.
• Working experience on both On-Premise and Cloud-Hub environments.
• Working experience on Microservices.
• Well versed with current API technologies such as API Gateways, e.g., Apigee
• Google Cloud – Apigee Certification is strong plus.
• Familiar with emerging API technologies such as Service Mesh, e.g., Istio
• All aspects of security such as authentication, authorization leveraging technologies/standards such as JWT, PKI, OAuth
• Extensive knowledge of integration files formats and canonical structures, transmission protocols and transformation technologies are strong plus.
• Advanced understanding/exposure to overall API-Management concepts
• Experience in defining overall API architecture, API implementations, integration and deployment
• Good understanding of key-based security, certificate configuration, encryption and end-end security principles in app development.
• Knowledge of various integration concepts including: Business-to-Business (B2B), platform-to-platform and EDI Trading Partner Integration development.
• Good exposure to Github, Subversion or other versioning tools.
• Must have experience in JAVA and spring.
• Experience with a large ESB implementation with any platform would be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of data formats like XML, JSON, EDI, CSV, NVP.
• Good understanding of integration technologies like HTTP, XML/XSLT, Dataweave, JMS, JDBC, REST, SOAP, Webservices and APIs.
• Must have strong knowledge of various middleware integration strategies.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and oral communication are mandatory.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Good exposure to webservice/ API security.
• In-depth knowledge of applications code registration procedures
• Good working knowledge in Unix/Linux shell scripting

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in IT/Technology industry.
• 3+ years of experience in Webservices/Interfaces development, design and architecture.
• 2+ years of experience with Databases.
• 2+ years of experience of Java/J2EE development.
• 1 years of development experience B2B.
• 2+ years of experience with Middleware code migrations.

Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management
