Product Development - Manager

Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordination with the NY Merchandisers
• Inter departmental coordination for project related updates
• MIS & Project related Task lists
• Work closely with the team and ensure that there is proper execution of the PD project
• Continuous product development of a large and diverse number of items
• Sourcing all products for the design and production of all jewellery collections and accessories
• Negotiations with manufacturers/suppliers if required
• Collaborate and knowledge share product knowledge with the Sales and QA team
• Assist the Design team in the launch of collections

Personal requirements:

• Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Commercially focused and delivering to budget and targets
• Advanced MS Excel
• Ensure requests and deliveries are met through the critical path
• In-depth understanding of jewellery manufacturing.
• Methodical approach and seeing projects through to completion
• Excellent command of written and oral English
• Strong team player who is accustomed to working in a cross-cultural environment
• Tenacious, with a willingness to go beyond the call of duty
