Job Description:
Maintenance engineers undertake scheduled and breakdown maintenance of engineering equipment or plants. Maintenance engineers' work involves checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures.
Maintenance engineering is a discipline that introduces engineering concepts to equipment maintenance. It enables companies to optimize maintenance procedures and improve machine performance in a cost-effective way.
As systems, machines, and infrastructure become more complex, there is an increased need to apply maintenance engineering practices to keep physical assets running smoothly and efficiently.
