Accounts Payable Executive

Job Description:

Detailed roles and responsibilities:-

• Booking of freight invoices after proper validation with supporting documents like duly acknowledged LR copy, sales invoice and gatepass.

• Approving of freight masters in system as per agreed rate/ agreement with transporters.

• Raising of debit note to transporters for damages, shortage as per agreed norms.

• Month end provision working and timely booking in SAP.

• Head office service invoices booking.

• Depot charges/ expenses invoice booking after checking with agreements and due approvals.

• Proper checking of TDS and GST as applicable at the time of invoice booking.

• Vendor payment processing on regular basis as and when due for payment.

• Vendor ledger scrutiny and reconciliation of vendor balances on regular intervals.

• Credit card statement booking after proper checking of supporting, approval and payment processing of the same.

• Timely response to various queries raised by vendors / internal departments wrt to payment/ invoice processing status etc.

• Analysis of expenses on monthly basis and providing required information / documents during the course of audit.

• Any other accounts related work as per the requirement.
