Job Description:

Designation – AM/DM

Request to provide CVs of attached job description:

  • Drive HIRA, HAZOP, PHA, PSSR, MOC, MIQA at the Unit level.

o   Responsible for implementation of all 14 PSM elements in the Unit.

o   Knowledge of LOPA, SIL Study, QRA required.

o   Support new projects in Terms of HAZOP study, relief calculation, Hazardous area classification & QRA.

o   Impart Process safety training to enhance the competency of the target group in the area of operation.

o   Assist operation and engineering on projects to ensure process safety processes and principles are utilised and incorporated within their design and work processes and assist with technical reviews of project design.

o   Analyses process safety data/incident trends integrating analytical approaches with refining subject matter expert. Develop reports and communicate report.

o   Affairs related to applications & Licensing work under Petroleum Rules 2002, Gas cylinder Rules 2016 & SMPV(U) Rules 2016

o   Organize and implement departmental action plans for EMP, OHSAS MP to achieve continual improvement in the standards of safety & environment in the departments

o   Organize and monitor Safety practices and work plans through Work Place Safety and Process Safety Management to strengthen the safety culture.

o   Maintain and test effective fire prevention and protection system for control of fire losses.

Education Qualification

  1. E./B Tech Chemical with Diploma in Industrial Safety from Govt. Recognized Institute

Work Experience

6-10 years in Work Place safety /Process Safety

Industry to be Hired from

Experience in Caustic soda manufacturing industries will get added advantage.

Functional Competencies

  • Awareness on standards and codes on Process Safety, CCPS and applicable NFPA guidelines
  • Knowledge and understanding of data from Process tests involving DSC, RC, TSU and material safety data involving Dust explosion, MIE, Powder Resistivity, Layer ignition, Ignition sensitivity, Explosion severity
  • Good understanding on tools of Process Hazard Analysis like HAZOP, FTA, ETA, What-if analysis and Risk Assessments
  • Good understanding on Powder and Process Safety concepts, data generation tools, Static Electricity and hazards and controls in Milling and drying operations
  • Hands on experience on Risk Assessments of High consequence events.
