Job Description:
Revit Mep Modeler – Mechanical Department
Responsibilities
? Obtain brief of the task assigned
? Understand task assigned and expected commitments
? Provide the inputs to Design department to prepare Drawing/Document schedule
? Preparation of Man-hours required
? Draft process equipment layout in consultation with process engineer
? Draft utility area and service floor blocks for area qualification by acquiring input
from design engineer.
? Draft the utility PFD by acquiring the details from Process engineer
? Draft the utility PFD by acquiring the details from Design engineer
? Draft the process equipment and utility pendant layout by acquiring the details
from process engineer
? Draft the Service floor/utility layout by acquiring the details from design engineer
? Draft the conceptual pipe rack by acquiring the details from design engineer
? Draft the utility P & ID by acquiring the details from design engineer
? Draft the piping drawing by acquiring the details from design engineer
? Draft the equipment foundation drawing with checking vendor drawing & by
acquiring the details from design engineer
? Draft the water system P & ID. Incorporate the finalized vendor GA drawing in
water system equipment layout. (consultation with process engineer)
? Draft the P and ID and Layout of fire & safety by acquiring the details from design
engineer
? Check drawings before release
? Coordinate with site and inter departments.
? Perform as per the commitments
? Keep the reporting head continuously informed on the work progress v/s
commitments on daily basis
? Monitor man hours as compared to estimate man hours
? Submit time sheets at the end of every month to accounts dept.
? Follow document and drawing numbering system
? Submit time sheets at the end of month to accounts
