Plant Head (Electro-Mech / Electronic units) at Vasai east in Mumbai
Job Description:
Qualification: Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Production.
Experience: minimum 10 to 20 years of experience in Electro-Mech / Electronic production units - like Switches, PCB, SMT, Electronic assembly plant managing high volume.
Work location: Vasai east in Mumbai
Job roles & responsibilities:
Lead complete plant manufacturing activities to achieve 100% schedule adherence. Manage both electromechanical and Electronic production units.
Material planning for 3 days advance production.
Coordinate with Marketing, purchase, quality and stores to ensure no line loss due to material shortages .
Risk analysis and take appropriate actions to mitigate risk to ensure FG dispatch to customers without delay.
Manage entire workforce of manufacturing assembly, Stores, Tool room and process engineering functions.
Update management on daily MIS and take actions to meet customer requirements.
Manage inventory levels to avoid excess inventory both at stores, assembly lines and at customer end.
Make effective utilization of ERP to maintain stock levels of both Child parts and Finish goods.
Meet all system requirements mainly IATF, Safety and environment, customer specific needs etc.
Special focus on plant safety, maintain 5S within plant and stores.
Ensure timely maintenance of all Machines, Tools and fixtures to avoid production loss.
Manage and resolve inter departmental issues to ensure cohesive and Healthy work environment
Work force planning for better labour ratio.
Process Re-engineering to optimize the OEE.
Focus and encourage workforce for continuous improvement to improve productivity and control cost.
Cost Re engineering to control revenue and labour cost.
Comply with all legal requirement related to factory license, safety, Labour laws etc.
Should make action plan on non-compliance of parameters said by mgt on monthly basis and track effective action on the same in consultation with MR.
Budgeting of capital good, tools, jigs, fixtures.
To ensure material adequacy and inventory ratio.
Key Requirements:
Well experienced in manpower planning , material planning and machinery planning.
Hands on experience in handling labour issues and deal with worker unions in cohesion with HRD.
Excellent analytical ability to ensure 100% schedule adherence by managing material, men and machineries.
Effective team leader who can develop a result oriented team
Skills to Encourage people to work effectively to improve quality and delivery to the customer.
High emotional balance while dealing with complex and critical situations.
Preferably from automotive background or assembly units.
Should have worked with organized sector.
Must have sound computer knowledge.
Knowledge of analytical tools and ERP such as SAP.
