ETL developers, in general, design, create, automate, and maintain sophisticated programs that extract, convert, and load data. To be more specific, ETL developers are responsible for the following tasks:
• Identifying data storage needs. ETL developers determine the company's storage requirements. They require a bird's-eye perspective of the data situation to select the optimal alternative.
• Data warehouses are created by ETL developers based on the needs of an organization.
• Creating dependable data pipelines: a collection of tools and procedures that provide data to the user. Pipelines connect systems and transport data from one format to another
