Job Description:
Manager – Compensation and Benefit (20L)
Key Responsibilities:
- Devise, Manage and implement group salary classification and compensation programs according to HR policy
- Conduct periodic benchmark analysis of compensation and benefits offerings as compared to the industry & geographic trends
- Oversee competitive analysis, merit/promotional increases and salary structure
- Manages & administer the regional Annual Comp Cycle (Merit, STI & LTI )
- Devise and administer ESOP strategies
- Analyze surveys to ensure appropriate compensation across all departments
- Support C& B Head in forecasting budget for salary increases
- Monitor HR budgets/ staff cost / ZBB/ ZBO data
- Monitor Incentive and bonus plans and execute payouts
- Guide HRSSC to administer and manage employee insurance plans to obtain the highest level of service at the best possible price
- Monitor and Advise on salary increase requests
- Provides guidance for the compensation and benefits portion of the negotiation of collective agreements in TCIL
- Advise HRBP, Business Managers and employees on benefits and compensation
- Monitor Job evaluation and banding/ grading
- Prepares HR reports and HR Analytics
- Calculates the variable pay for employees under a close supervision of C&B Head and Finance Business Partner
- Monitor the compensation audit reports and informs C&B Head about the results of audit tests
- Advises compensation changes using defined rules (salary changes, variable pay changes, incentive plan change/allocations)
- Educate and advices other members of HR team & Business on C&B & Taxation topics
- Analyses the compensation data against the compensation policies and reports non-compliant cases and behavior
- Handle HR Audit (Internal / External)
- Monitor compensation structures with regards to the changes in statutory guidelines
Required Skills:
- Graduate and MBA in HR of Finance Management
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint – Proficiency with Advanced MS Excel, preferably Macros is a must)
- Good exposure on various HRMS
- Communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Self-management skills
- Team Player
Required Experience:
- 10 -12 years in Compensation and Benefit ( Desirable experience from HR compensation and benchmarking Consulting firm but not essential)
- Managing Team of C&B analyst
- International Compensation Experience desirable
Asst Manager – Comp & Benefit Analyst ( Ambarish role ) (8L)
Key Responsibilities of C&B Analyst
- Prepares data for compensation and benefits analyses
- Clean reported data and checks the quality of data
- Provides support to Corporate HR & HR Business Partners with data
- Conduct internal compensation benchmarking
- Provides data for internal & external compensation benchmarking
- Prepares HR reports and HR Analytics
- Calculates the variable pay for employees under a close supervision of C&B Manager and Finance Business Partner
- Run the compensation audit reports and informs C&B Manager about the results of audit tests
- Prepares compensation changes using defined rules (salary changes, variable pay changes, incentive plan change/allocations)
- Advices other members of HR team on basic C&B topics
- Prepares the compensation data against the compensation policies and reports non-compliant cases and behavior
Key Skills & Experience
- Preferable - Graduate in Commerce, Economics or Statistics
- Essential - MBA – either in Finance or HR
- 6 - 8 years’ Experience in C&B
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Good exposure on various HRMS
- Communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Self-management skills
- Team Player
