Senior Lead Compliance – IRDA
Job Description:
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines set forth by IRDAI. This includes staying updated on IRDAI regulations, circulars, guidelines, and notifications.
- Regulatory Drafts and Comments: Reviewing regulatory drafts and providing comments or feedback to the regulatory body. This may involve analyzing proposed changes and their impact on the organization's operations.
- IRDAI Filings: Assuring that various filings and requirements stipulated by IRDAI are collected, compiled, and submitted within the prescribed timelines. This could involve preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with relevant functions within the organization.
- Compliance Certifications: Obtaining periodic compliance certifications from different functions within the organization, ensuring they are submitted on time. Reviewing these certificates to identify any non-compliance or delays and reporting them to management.
- Regulatory Updates: Tracking and staying informed about IRDAI regulations, circulars, guidelines, and notifications. Sharing relevant updates and requirements with the management team and guiding the business on implementing necessary changes in processes.
- Compliance Reporting and Checklist: Maintaining an updated compliance reporting calendar, organizing compliance checklists, and circulating them to the respective functions within the organization. Responding to ado requirements from IRDAI as needed
