Position:          IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities:        

• Supports global team as a key IT resource for application implementation and support.
• Knows and applies the fundamental concepts and principles gained through experience to solve a range of problems.
• Assists in multi-facility application implementation initiatives Provides support by working with enterprise resources as an application expert to resolve service desk incident tickets for assigned applications or responsibilities.
• Collaborates with a global team to monitor and facilitate new application testing and
• implementation with increased responsibility over analysts junior to the role
• Assists to develop policies and procedures, develop best practices and deliver training as needed.
• Assists in process improvement efforts to streamline efficiency that require greater accountability.
• Assists in actively promoting and supporting a broad range of application standardization,utilization, integration, and optimization efforts.
• Proactively leads and conducts assessments to ensure support needs are met,interactions documented, and issues escalated as needed.
• Adheres to service management operational policies and best practices, contributing to the enterprise and IT service management goals.
• Helps to implement action plans based on application data and reports.
• May perform application audits based on policies and procedures.
• Partners with global teams to develop best practices, track trends, share technical expertise, and improve application efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Excellent IT skills, specifically focused on application improvements.
• Strong, professional communication skills, able to approach managers using an appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style.
• Strong planning and organization with the ability to see short and long-term goals.
• Focus on details, errorless delivery, and logical reasoning.
• Pro-active with a can-do attitude
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to discover and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with independent judgement and critical thinking skillset.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a global collaborative team Has strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience of problem solving and eager to truly understand the ins and outs of how applications operate
