Job description:

 

Sales & Order Support Specialist (based on: Client Support Specialist Role)            
                                 
Responsibilities:                              
                                 
  Serve as a trusted advisor to field sales on pricing, product configuration, and business terms to drive deal closure.          
  Serve as an escalation point to business partners for Order-to-cash operations, and ensure compliance with sales and business approval policies    
  Act as the primary liaison with all cross-functional business partners involved in the order process to facilitate deal closure.        
  Build productive relationships and feedback loops with Legal, Finance, Sales and Product teams to drive operational and process efficiencies, interpret contractual language, and manage approvals for all non-standard contractual language.
  Responsible for creating and delivering sales quotes by configuring quotes and submitting internal service requests through internal systems and by navigating internal networks.     
  Respond fast, prioritize and stay on top of all research requests.                    
  Identify, investigate and clarify customer inquiries and issues. Determine quick and efficient resolution.             
  Research, report and analyze customer data for various customer projects (renewals, service upgrades, customer inquiries)        
  Answer sales/internal customer inquiries on order status, track info and order processing procedures.            
  Work on quote revisions, review T&Cs, validate discounting errors, gather pricing approvals, collect missing info/documents.        
  Communicate effectively with a variety of departments within the company, and function well within a team framework.          
  Create Customer Price addendum and Create Customer Accounts                  
  Draft and send change order documents to Customers to add and delete services.                 
  Provide guidance & instruction to internal customers on the ordering process                 
  Serve as a single point of contact for the resolution of all order processing questions and issues for their assigned sales & customer base.      
  Responsible for understanding and adhering to compliance controls.                   
  Work on special projects as required.                        
Skills                                
                                 
Must to Have                               
  Experience drafting contractual agreements.                      
  3-6 years of experience in an order processing, customer service and contract / document processing environment.          
  Strong communication and relationship building skills along with the ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of management. (IT, Customer Care, Sales, etc…)    
  Strong attention to detail.                          
  Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks and workload.                     
  The ability to multi-task and work with limited supervision                     
  Able to work with tight deadlines is a must.                        
  Proficiency in basic contractual language and a general knowledge of spreadsheets and databases is desired.           
  Salesforce.com knowledge or experience a plus                       
  Candidate must possess analytical and problem solving skills                    
  Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy required                    
  Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.                      
  Cloud Product experience a plus.                        
  Flexible to work in different shifts including night shifts.

    Demonstrated industry experience in sales operations, deal desk or contracts management within a leading high-growth technology firm;     

Objectives of Role:

Ø  Serve as a trusted advisor to field sales on pricing, product configuration, and business terms to drive deal closure

Ø  Act as the primary liaison with all cross-functional business partners involved in the order process to facilitate deal closure.

Ø  Build productive relationships and feedback loops with Legal, Finance, Sales and Product teams to drive operational and process efficiencies, interpret and negotiate contractual language, and manage approvals for all non-standard contractual language.

Ø  Measure, monitor, and report select performance metrics.

Ø  Enable the sales team to increase productivity by assuming pre-sales research and managing quote creation-to-bookings process.

Ø  Responsible for creating and delivering sales quotes by configuring quotes and submitting internal service requests through internal systems.

Ø  Troubleshoot internal systems in order to drive timely and accurate sales quote creation.

Ø  Ensure bookings by navigating internal networks—Sales as well as other departments.

Ø  Act as liaison to Sales, Revenue Operations and Customer Care. Respond fast, prioritize and stay on top of all research requests.

Ø  Create Customer Accounts

 

 

Ø  Draft and send change order documents to Customers to add and delete services.

Ø  Provide guidance & instruction to internal customers on the ordering process

Ø  Research and resolve order-related inquiries

 

Ø  Prepare standard and non-standard ordering documents

Ø  Perform customer on-boarding tasks (e.g., customer validation and contract quality assurance)

Ø  Dispatch and monitor status of requests for assistance for the Customer Contracts Revenue Operations team

Ø  Support contracts administration projects (e.g., standardizing and logging SLA data, price increases, file audits etc.)

Ø  Assist with department administrative tasks as needed (e.g. making sure contracts are returned to customers and made available internally in a timely manner).

Ø  Serve as a single point of contact for the resolution of all order processing questions and issues for their assigned sales & customer base.

Ø  Responsible for understanding and adhering to SOX controls.

Ø  Work on special projects as required.

 

       

Skills:

Ø  Experience drafting contractual agreements.
