Analyst - Accounts Payable
Summary:
The AP Analyst is responsible for processing various types of accounts payable transactions including vendor invoice posting for European countries & India. He/she will be communicating with suppliers on Accounts payable topics in German & English language. This position will also involve follow-up with requisitioners in those countries. To maintain GRIR & to reduce past due documents.
Responsibilities Include:
Processing invoices for India and Europe region:
- Ensure clearing all allocated workflows.
- Check aged-parked documents on timely manner.
- Follow up for open items.
- Accounting BOE & CHA for India region
Generic E-mail box handling for both India & European Entities:
- Respond mails from mailboxes in German Language/other languages applicable.
- Understand the process and discuss with vendors/suppliers/internal stake holders to solve the issues.
- Create templates/guide about language skillset among team members.
- Maintain reports for effective mailbox analysis.
Other responsibilities:
- Contribute to the standardization of AP process.
- Act as an expert from AP, share best practices and standard techniques and implement appropriately. Train other team members and share best practices.
- Work with Vendor Master Data team for relevant changes to the profile as appropriate.
- Focus on continuous improvement opportunities resulting in improved processing time.
- Any other additional responsibilities assigned by Team Lead as required.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
- 5-8 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance
- Basic German language & fluency in English is required.
- Strong analytical mindset
- SAP experience
- Excellent communication skills, Transformational spirit, creative personality
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
- Service mindset, proactive & problem-solving skills
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables producing high quality output.
