Job Description:

BASIC PURPOSE:

The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for the design and development pf applications and workflows using the platform’s App Engine capabilities. The ServiceNow Developer will design, develop, and implement custom, low code solutions on CCH’s ServiceNow platform to support a wide range of business needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and services, based on business requirements.
  • Create and maintain business rules, UI policies, UI actions, client and server scripts, and access controls in ServiceNow.
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for ServiceNow configuration, implementation, and support.
  • Use agile methodologies to manage and execute ServiceNow tasks and projects.
  • Develop workflows, catalog items, and customer-friendly interfaces within ServiceNow.
  • Create and configure reports and dashboards according to business requirements.
  • Maintain and support ServiceNow updates and upgrades, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Provide training and documentation to other members of the team to support end-user training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4 years of ServiceNow experience
  • ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, HTML, Jelly, Angular), platform configuration, customization, custom application design and development, App Studio, and application deployments.
  • Experience with ACLs, business rules, script includes, client scripts, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary entries, and catalog items.
  • Service portal configuration and development.
  • Flow Designer/Workflow building and maintenance.
  • Experience configuring/customizing core applications such as CSM, FSM, Mobile Apps, Workspaces, App Studio, Service Portal.
  • Integration experience (SOAP, REST, JSON, JDBC, and file imports).
  • Experience with any languages outside of JavaScript is a plus (Java, C, C++, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
  • ServiceNow administration experience a plus.
  • Ability to work through problems and troubleshoot production and non-production related issues.
  • Excellent Communication skills when working with the business, other areas of IT, and team members.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with Git code versioning tools.
  • AWS Certification highly desired.
  • Good written, verbal communication skills.
  • Great team player.
