JOB SUMMARY
Manufacturing Excellence Asst. Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Manufacturing excellence Asst. Manager to provide leadership and vision to optimize the production, supply chain, capacity planning and inventory management through use of process Excellence and best industrial practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Focus on continuous improvement of your operations to reduce waste, increase production profitability.
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures involved in manufacturing processes that result in high-quality products.
- Work with different departments to identify opportunities for improvement, develop plans to implement those improvements and track progress over time.
- Creating and implementing operational policies and procedures based on best practices from industry leaders.
- Conducting analysis of manufacturing operations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Reviewing performance metrics to identify trends that may indicate a need for change in operations.
- Working with management to develop action plans for addressing issues identified in operational analysis and devising new strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Educating employees about changes to processes to ensure that they are implemented effectively.
- Recommending new processes or technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Researching automation techniques to maximize the efficiency of production lines and warehouse.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
- Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in engineering. Preferable MBA in operations Management
- At least 5 years solid experience in the same or similar capacity gained in manufacturing excellence.
- Coach and mentor process improvement staff and conduct process improvement training
- Hands on experience in best practices such as TQM, Lean Manufacturing, World Class Manufacturing and more.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Organizes & communicates complex data clearly and simply
- Computer skills on ERP.MS-Office and web-based meeting tools.
- Ability to lead large scale key focus area process improvement events and see through to successful implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal & written communication skills
