Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Technical Drawings: Create accurate 2D technical drawings, layouts, elevations, and plans for furniture designs.
- Site Measurement: Conduct on-site measurements to gather accurate data for design and drawing purposes.
- Furniture Design: Translate design concepts into precise technical drawings, incorporating necessary details for manufacturing.
- CAD Software: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD) to draft and refine drawings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure drawings align with design intent.
- Communication: Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather information, clarify design details, and address discrepancies.
- Deadlines: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery of accurate drawings.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD software and design techniques.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a 2D draftsman in Modular Furniture related role in the design and manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in 2D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for creating accurate technical drawings.
- Site Measurement: Experience in conducting on-site measurements for accurate design data gathering.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in drawings.
