CAD designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Designer to join our team. The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in CAD software, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

1. Design Development:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Develop detailed design drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

2. CAD Software Proficiency:

• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create 2D and 3D models.
• Stay updated on the latest CAD technologies and tools to enhance design efficiency.

3. Drafting and Documentation:

• Prepare comprehensive and accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Generate material lists, cost estimates, and documentation related to design specifications.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct quality checks on designs to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.

5. Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, and project managers, to incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs.

6. Communication:

• Effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide input on design improvements.

7. Project Management:

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of design components.

8. Problem Solving:

• Identify and resolve design issues and challenges during the development phase.
• Collaborate with the team to find innovative solutions to design problems.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in B. Arch / Civil engineering / Interior design

Experience: 

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer in a relevant industry for 2 to 3 years.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant design tools
