JR. ENGINEER - CIVIL

Job Description:

Job Summary: As a Junior Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various engineering disciplines while supporting the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Project Planning:

   • Collaborate with senior engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
   • Participate in project planning and contribute to the development of project schedules.

2. Design and Drafting:

   • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to assist in the creation of engineering drawings and schematics.
   • Work on design modifications under the guidance of senior engineers.

3. Data Analysis:

   • Collect and analyze engineering data to support decision-making processes.
   • Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation.

4. Testing and Quality Assurance:

   • Participate in the testing and evaluation of engineering systems and components.
   • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, project managers, and technicians.
   • Communicate effectively with team members to share progress updates and address any challenges.

6. Problem Solving:

   • Identify and troubleshoot engineering issues under the guidance of experienced engineers.
   • Propose and implement solutions to overcome technical challenges.

7. Compliance and Regulations:

   • Stay informed about industry regulations and standards relevant to the projects being undertaken.
   • Ensure that engineering activities adhere to applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

8. Continuous Learning:

   • Actively participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills.
   • Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in the field of engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
