Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and Commissioning:

    • Install and commission products or systems at customer locations.
    • Ensure proper setup and configuration according to technical specifications.
  2. Maintenance and Repairs:

    • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment or systems.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to identify and implement solutions.
    • Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components.
  3. Customer Support:

    • Provide technical support to customers through various channels, including phone, email, or on-site visits.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
  4. Training and Documentation:

    • Conduct training sessions for customers on product operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Create and update technical documentation, manuals, and service reports.
  5. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that service activities meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
    • Conduct quality checks on completed installations and repairs.
  6. Remote Diagnostics:

    • Utilize remote diagnostic tools to analyze and resolve technical issues when on-site visits are not feasible.
  7. Collaboration with Sales and Engineering Teams:

    • Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales activities.
    • Communicate customer feedback and technical insights to the engineering team for product improvement.
  8. Inventory Management:

    • Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment needed for service activities.
    • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required components.
  9. Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during service activities.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  10. Continuous Learning:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and product developments.
    • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant technical tools and software.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site service visits.
