Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Order Tracking:

    • Monitor the status of customer orders from the point of dispatch to delivery.
    • Utilize tracking systems and tools to provide real-time updates on shipment locations.
  2. Communication:

    • Coordinate with logistics teams, transportation providers, and internal departments to ensure seamless communication throughout the delivery process.
    • Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding the status of their deliveries.
  3. Issue Resolution:

    • Identify and address any issues or delays in the delivery process.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues such as transportation problems, inventory shortages, or damaged goods.
  4. Customer Interaction:

    • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or special requirements.
    • Obtain and relay customer feedback on delivery experiences to relevant teams for continuous improvement.
  5. Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, tracking information, and customer interactions.
    • Ensure all relevant documentation is complete and filed appropriately.
  6. Performance Analysis:

    • Analyze delivery performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
    • Work with logistics and operations teams to implement enhancements to the delivery process.
  7. Collaboration with Sales and Customer Service:

    • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to understand customer expectations and address any delivery-related inquiries.
    • Provide support in managing customer expectations and resolving issues.
  8. Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with delivery policies, regulations, and standards.
    • Stay informed about changes in delivery regulations and industry best practices.
  9. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement in the delivery follow-up process.
    • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, or customer service role.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and tracking systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
