Business Analyst

Job Description:

Job Summary

The Business Analyst will oversee and conduct the conversion of data into insights that will lead to informed business decisions. He will work directly with stakeholders and the management within the assigned departments. The Business Analyst will have to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize work, and remain functional under aggressive timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Identify and formulate problem statements aligned in different verticals of the organization.
• Collect data from various checkpoints to establish an understanding of bottlenecks.
• Strategize and plan effective solutions, help execute these solutions with respective stakeholders.
• Responsible for all the data and reporting automation.
• Would be generating weekly reports with key data insights for stakeholders.
• Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data to drive insights.
• Drive results in operating with a sense of urgency and employing effective time management.
• Under general direction, formulates and defines complex systems scope and objectives based on both stakeholder needs and a good understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
• Works on enterprise system problems of diverse scope where analysis and evaluation of functionality is required.
• Lead the departments work intake process, for all the initiatives from idea inception through to road mapping & development.
• Monitoring project progress and creating status reports for projects and stakeholders

Skills required:

• 5+ years of Advanced Excel, Macros and data visualization tools such as PowerBI experience.
• Experience with SQL and Python is desirable.
• 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience

Experience:

• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
• Interested in working in a high-growth environment where your analysis drives important decisions.
• Overall 5-7 years of relevant experience

Education:

• Undergraduate degree from premier institutions or equivalent from top institutes.
