Job Description:

 

  1. Teaching: Deliver high-quality instruction in Computer Engineering/Information Technology at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments to reflect current trends and best practices in the field.
  2. Research: Conduct cutting-edge research in Computer Engineering/Information Technology or related areas. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences. Collaborate with colleagues, students, and external partners on research projects.
  3. Student Supervision: Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students in academic and research pursuits. Guide course selection, career development, and research opportunities. Supervise graduate theses and dissertations.
  4. Service and Engagement: Contribute to the academic and administrative activities of the department and university. Serve on committees, participate in curriculum development, and engage in outreach activities. Foster collaborations with industry partners, professional organizations, and the broader community.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: PhD in Computer Engineering/Information Technology
  2. ME/ M.Tech in Computer Engineering/Information Technology Engineering.
  3. Teaching Experience: Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the university level, with a commitment to student success and engagement. Applicants, including fresh Ph.D. graduates, are also encouraged to apply
  4. Research Excellence: Strong research record demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at conferences. Experience in securing external research funding is desirable.
  5. Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders. Leadership experience in academic, research, or professional settings is an asset.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
