Job Description:

                       Job Purpose: To manage the entire Engineering Maintenance department effectively and efficiently!

Job Description:

1.  To ensure preventive or planned maintenance schedules are carried out.
2.  To allot jobs to the Contractor by giving him Job Orders to carry out the work with all safeties and precautionary measures and same to be supervised.
3.  To obtain and analyze quotations along with the Engineer.
4.  To ensure discipline of Maintenance staff and administration of department.
5.  To ensure all equipment in the unit is always kept in state of readiness, with minimum of downtime, in such a way so as not to hamper production and other related activity in the unit
6. . To maintain liaison with Government and/or Statutory bodies besides utility suppliers too.
7.  To ensure all requisite licenses and NOCs are kept always updated.
8.  To ensure HACCP and if any other guidelines /checklists always maintained.
9.  To keep Maintenance costs within Maintenance Expenses Budget.
10.  To ensure Energy Budget is within limits at the same time maintaining comfort and mandatory regulations.
11.  To ensure proper liaisoning with all the other departments/HODs for smooth operation.
12.  To ensure all complaints from users are attended to and solved at the earliest without affecting comfort, quality, and productivity.
13.  To plan and co-ordinate in making budgets (Expenses and Energy) for the coming Financial Year along with the Engineer.
14.  To plan, propose and execute (after due authorization) capital budgets as may be necessary.
15.  To ensure all training needs of staff in the department are met and implemented as well as to establish the necessary rapport with the staff and meeting ESTS guidelines
