CABINET ENGINEER (CAD) - RAIPUR

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabinet Engineer to join our speaker box and cajon manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinet design, engineering, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on optimizing product quality, performance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Design and engineer speaker boxes and cajons according to customer specifications, industry standards, and company requirements.
Utilize CAD software to develop detailed drawings and blueprints for cabinet construction, including dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions.
Conduct structural analysis and testing to ensure the strength, durability, and acoustical performance of cabinet designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to bring designs from concept to production.
Select appropriate materials and components for cabinet construction, considering factors such as cost, availability, and performance.
Optimize manufacturing processes for cabinet fabrication, assembly, and finishing, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that finished cabinets meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in cabinet design and manufacturing technologies.
Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing personnel, resolving issues and optimizing production workflows.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, components, and equipment for cabinet production.
Assist in the development of new products and variants, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to enhance product performance and market competitiveness.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in cabinet design, engineering, and manufacturing, particularly in the speaker box and cajon industry.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 2D and 3D modeling and drafting.
Strong understanding of acoustical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes related to cabinet construction.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery methods, and finishing processes for cabinet fabrication.
Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is a plus.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
