CIVIL ENGINEER - RAIPUR

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the construction of water treatment plant structures, including pipelines, reservoirs, pumping stations, and treatment facilities.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with design standards, regulations, and budgetary constraints.
• Manage construction activities, including contractor selection, scheduling, and quality control.
• Conduct regular inspections of infrastructure to assess structural integrity, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance staff to troubleshoot issues and optimize plant performance.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, best practices, and regulatory changes in the field of water treatment and civil engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in civil engineering roles, preferably in the design and construction of water treatment plants or similar infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar programs.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to water treatment and civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
